Maximum Strength:<\/strong> Large stones provide better “aggregate interlock” than small stones. This is why 19mm is the mandatory size for load-bearing foundations and house slabs.
\nExcellent Drainage:<\/strong> Because the stones are larger, they create bigger gaps (voids) when piled loosely. This makes 19mm the perfect choice for filling French drains and soakaways.

\nCan I walk on this barefoot?<\/strong> We wouldn’t recommend it! 19mm crushed stone has sharp edges. For garden paths or walkways, we recommend the smaller 13mm Stone or smooth pebbles.
\nWhat is the ratio for mixing concrete?<\/strong> A classic “old school” mix is 1:2:3 (1 Cement, 2 River Sand, 3 Stone). However, for modern structural work, always consult your engineer or cement packet instructions.<\/p>\n
