Landscape Soil (also known as Garden Mix) is our premium “ready-to-use” growing medium. Unlike standard topsoil which often needs to be enriched before use, this soil comes pre-blended with our high-quality organic compost.

Common Questions:

What is the difference between Landscape Soil and Topsoil? Topsoil is raw earth (usually stripped from the top layer of land). It often needs fertilizer added. Landscape Soil is Topsoil plus Compost mixed together. It is richer and ready for planting immediately.
Can I use this for pots? Yes, for large outdoor planters, it is excellent and much cheaper than bagged potting soil. For very small indoor pots, you might prefer a sterilized bag mix, but for bulk outdoor use, this is the standard choice.
Do I need to add fertilizer? The compost in the mix provides a great starter feed. However, for heavy feeders (like vegetables), we always recommend adding a bit of extra Chicken Manure or fertilizer as the plants grow.
